A Seemingly Random Post That Really Should Be Split in Two.

Okay, so remember when i wrote down that I was going to be a good blogger like Julie and how I would post less pictures on here and write a lot more. Well, I failed... epically as this post represents. I just like taking pictures too much, it's comforting in a way. The way the camera can capture whatever you want it to. The photographer is in control of the camera, and I like it that way. When I write things down its a different story. My fingers like to take over from my mind. They take control like my body is a crazy spaceship going nowhere.
Really, this post is far too long to have any real meaning to it. Too many pictures, and now perhaps a little to much rambling on. But isn't that what blogs were designed to do? They were designed as a way of letting people express there thoughts and ramblings to the world whether they be about music, poetry, fashion, photography, food or numerous other things that I am in no way going to list all of them down here.
If I were a fabulous writer with a number of best selling books I think that I would start an anonymous blog, or even if I were famous. Then I could write anything I want without criticism or fame. It is better that way, like a blog is a place inside ones own head where they just happen to share pictures and snippets. It is only a tiny place however, and would remain a tiny place. Too much happens in a person's life to record it all on paper, or in my case, the internet.
So many of my thoughts will never make it down onto here or anywhere else for that matter. For example, just yesterday I was thinking that perhaps I would like to find a different colour thing to photograph that day. But I didn't. One, because I was far too lazy yesterday and two, because it escaped my mind up until right now. And I will not go through with it because it is a silly idea too. So my subconscience wins again by telling me what not and what to do.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We put up the Christmas tree and decorations yesterday. Mum has taken to only using red and gold decorations for the past couple of years. She thinks that it looks nicer and to be honest I have to agree with her. Not having my year two Christmas photo hanging on the tree anymore is a blessing.

I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year and not just because of my awesome present. I'm going to my cousins in the city for Christmas. They're from my Mum's side of the family and that side of the family is generally a lot happier than my Dad's side this year. I will also get to see my cousins brand new house, its a big step for her to host Christmas so it should be good fun.

While I was decorating the house yesterday before the tree came, I was listening to the Christmas music on my iPod. Surprisingly I had quite a lot. My favourites this year though are Believe by Josh Groban and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Tori Amos.

I believe that the weeks before Christmas are the best time. I love having the Christmas tree around (it's my favourite part) and eating candy-canes and watching the Christmas specials on TV. There's no better time of year. It seems that everyone all over the world loves Christmas too, from the snow covered girl in America to the Kinder eating little Italian boy. Last year at this time I was still in Italy. I can't believe that it has been a whole year since I saw all my friends over there.

Roller Girl

Last night I was being my bored Thursday afternoon self when I happened upon my roller-blades. I have absolutely no idea why, but I went out for a ride on them. It turned out to be a good idea. I was able to take some photos and I scared the brains out of some cows by accident. Win, win.
I kept this bolt, with some ruby ribbon it is going to become my new favourite necklace.

Listening to: Daria Theme Song by Splendora.
