Raspberries In Winter

So I did what I said I was going to: I made a new blog! Check it out here and make sure you follow!

I feel as if I am getting a bit tired of this blog. There is little more to write about and really I just want a change. I don't want to delete it, nothing like that, but perhaps it is time for something new. But now that I think about it, I think that starting up a new blog would just add to my stress levels at the moment so I will continue to debate and think it over. Perhaps next year, once school has finished and I have better things to focus on, I will start a new one. For now though I am still Moshe.Moshe

Ooh La La it's Vintage!

Vintage pattern from Casey's Elegant Musing's.

The pattern made up, 1947

I am a really bad blogger lately. Not even lately, I haven't posted here all month! Which is really terrible. I've just been so busy with school and hobbies and travel that I've really only had time for my 365 blog, and even then some days it is a challenge.

I've been tapping into my "creative side" lately, having somehow found the time to make a whole dress and start knitting a jacket for winter. The dress is cute, a pretty pink-purple colour and pleated at the waist. Its not quite finished though so no photos as of yet, I still need to hem it. The jacket so far doesn't even look like a jacket but it (hopefully) will look like one when finished.

1947, Bride.

To make up for my lazy blogging habits I've found some photos of cute vintage dresses and things. So enjoy!

Taylor Swift

I read somewhere a while ago that Taylor Swift, the singer/songwriter, was going to be designing greeting cards and I thought "Gee, that's odd". Bu they're actually pretty good. so much so that I am changing Moshe-Cat's header.

Flickr Gems

Lately I have been spending the majority of my internet time ignoring my homework or anything else that seemed overly dull by browsing through Flickr. I joined last year and at first I just joined to post photos on the internet. I liked getting the feedback on them but was pretty much clueless as to how I found other people's photos on there. Eventually though, I figured it out and am now on my way to becoming a Flickr addict.

One of the very first photographers I "discovered" on there was Lauren (lauren {elycerose}). She mostly takes photos of her kids but she also takes the most beautiful and imaginative photos. These photos of hers aren't exactly my favourites but they're still really good.

Brittany Juravich is another photographer who I like. She mainly takes photos of herself and not all of these I like but I do like the style and there is a lot I do really like. Take these, for example.

Another photographer who caught my eye was Grace (The Spider In Your Bath). She lives in England and has the most adorable pet rat. Which is saying a lot, coming from me (I'm not a fan of rats). This first photo with the plaits is the first one I saw of hers and all I thought was "cool hair". Then I saw her other work and it's great.

The final Flickr photographer is Jett Myers (geewillikersjett). He takes some excellent portraits of his friends and mainly I just like them. Occasionally I like a photo that he has taken of himself, but not usually.
And that would be that. It took me forever to find the photos and I couldn't put up the ones that I really like from Lauren, but check out their photostreams and you'll be sure to find out what I mean.

Hop To It.

I like it when my Mother's friend goes away for a couple of reasons:

a) They have rabbits, cute ones.
b) I get to pat said rabbits.
c) Rabbits are a fun and different thing to photograph.

Thus the reason for this post. I never really liked rabbits ever since one bit me at my sister's friends house when I was little. It hurt, a lot. Also, I will never have a rabbit myself so it's fun to get to pat them for a bit. Even rabbits nicknamed after various WW2 leaders depending on the rabbit's willingness to get in their cage.

Pretty White Dresses

Amanda Seyfried, Emma Roberts, Blake Lively & Kirsten Stewart

I've been a bit of a TV nut lately preferring to lie around doing nothing than get up and do my homework. I like "me" weeks. They can be really fun. One of the many movies I watched this week was Mamma Mia. I just love it. My favourite character is Sophie, partly because of the hair and partly because it would be so amazingly wonderful to grow up on a Greek Island with a Mum like Donna. Crazy stuff. Also, that wedding dress is insane. But mostly I just want the hair.

200 Posts, gosh how old.

My new (a.k.a actually old) books and Amelia Jane.

New Year's

I haven't been posting very much lately mainly because of sheer laziness and also because it's the holidays and I just felt like ignoring the internet for a while. But now I'm back and will try to post a bit more frequently. So here are some random pictures from this holidays taken on my new camera (gasp, yay!) to make up for it.
