Fire, Fuoco no water.

There is a big bad fire right near my house! OK, so not right near but close enough. I could hear the fire sirens this morning. This is why living in one of the driest countries in the world sucks. It is really, really hot in summer resulting in bushfires. Boo bushfires. Boo summer.
So hot... 46 degrees Celsius today.
I love a form of venting that doesn't involve yelling at the sky.

I'm all out of witty titles for today

I watched an episode of NCIS that I haven't seen before. Wow. I lead such an interesting life. Also, Bones: Season Three comes out on March 4th. Counting down the days.
It is so hot today! Even just going outside to take these pictures raised a sweat!

I Have to stop reading spoilers.

I know I shouldn't, but then I still skip over the spoiler warnings. Now I know some things are going to happen on my favourite shows when really I don't want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is so frustrating.

41 Degrees Celsius today. I hate summer.

Dizzy yet?

Yesterday I was bored so I took my camera down to the local park to take some photos. Then I got bored with that and made a video instead. Time yourself and see how long it takes you to feel dizzy. I know I was when I filmed the video!

The Italian word for beach is spiaggia.

Yesterday I went to the beach. I picked a good day to go too. It was beautiful down there! I went swimming and saw Dave Hugh's from Rove, who just happened to be sitting next to us. My sister's friends were doing some sort of life-saving assessment day so I watched them do their sprint, run, sprint for a bit then walked away only to find the backs of my knees were burnt! Ouch. We had pavlova for dessert at lunch in honor of Australia Day, which is today.

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!

As it Australia Day, that also means that it is m-cat's birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY M-CAT!

This is for M-cat: From Me,

We all unanimously dislike car fluids.

I very much dislike having to work in the auto/hardware section at work. It is always sticky there, like a child with jam on it's hands, and it is guaranteed to be pretty boring. However, when one gets to finish at three instead of six, it is profoundly better.
Done lots of driving today. Going to the beach tomorrow. Wearing new jeans. Yay! It is cold enough to actually wear jeans!

Cartoons, mice and cakes.

NCIS. Tony and Ziva and cartoon Simpsoms versions of the NCIS team. Yay.
M-cat came over today. We made a cake then tipped it upside down onto the bench and watched it crumble. We also fed my deb partner's evil rabbits. Monty Python anyone?
My cousins also arrived, rather unexpectedly, and watched Stuart Little the whole time. Well done cousins. M-cat made a blog: green frogs. That's not the name of the blog by the way. I had quite a bit of input into it as well. Blah. Going to watch Sabrina now. I like the idiocy of it.

Ninja. Ninja.

I was watching NCIS today and I couldn't help wondering about how many ninja-style moves Ziva has. They are awesome. Go ninjas.

La La La.

Once again, go ninja's.

It pains me to shop too much but the cats in the pet store are cute.

Ugh! Long, long day. It starts off with the words: "You have to get up, it's 7.30am" and ends with talking animals who are more witty than I am. I picked out my debutante dress on Saturday so today I had to go and find some shoes to match. Not easy when you are size 11 in ladies shoes (that's about size 44 in UK sizes). Sucky. Then it just keeps getting better when I end up finding a pair of shoes back here in my home town. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Not happy Jan.
The highlights of my day included the nachos I had for lunch, the sales assistant falling over and buying myself a new tripod. Gosh, I am so mean. Poor sales assistant. I am like that Walrus off Alice In Wonderland. I will go and eat some poor oysters dressed in blue shirts and ballet shoes now (even though i am allergic. serves me right).

Eloise, Eloise, Eloise!

I like the way Nanny says things three times. It's almost as if once or twice wasn't enough so she just had to say it three times!

Kirsten, Cats, Magazines and Toffee Apples

I love this picture. It is so natural and the cat is very cute. Kirsten was in Lula, this is just one of many pictures to feature her. This one is my favourite though. Speaking of magazines, yesterday I went down the street with the intention of printing my ginormous stack of photos only to find I didn't have enough money to do so. Instead I went and hung out in the news agency reading magazines. I just had to buy one because it would have been rude to stand there for an hour reading the magazines and not buy anything. I also bought a toffee apple but that was only 60 cents. The magazine I ended up buying is called Frankie. It is actually very good. Artsy but cool at the same time. I love their photography.
Note to self: Practice photography because yours sucks.

A Day In The Life Of Moshe

I must admit, I kind of 'borrowed' this idea from The Clothes Horse who in turn borrowed it from someone else. Yesterday I documented my day by taking one picture every hour for what I was doing. Probably not much fun to read but it was definitely fun to do!8 am-Played tetris as soon as I woke up.
9 am-Had my mum's lemon butter on toast for brekkie.10 am-Bike ride down the street11 am-Library visit.
12 pm-Shopping!1 pm-Drew some stuff2 pm- practiced piano. 3 pm-It was hot outside4 pm-Yay! Finally, some strawberries from the garden!5 pm- Watched the final episodes of Bones and NCIS Season 2. (Again)6 pm- More drawing.
7 pm- Bike ride down to the netball courts.8 pm-Ate a jelly while listening to music.9 pm-Played piano some more and drew a superhero.10 pm- Cleaned up my desk then went to bed.

I know, I know. Boring day. However, taking these pictures was a fun addition to my day for the 6th of January 2009.

I kicked Alice out of Wonderland.

Bye, bye Alice. She was getting annoying. Always with the "Why?".
I was watching the Mary-Kate and Ashley film, New York Minute earlier and I was wondering, How could they possibly have run that fast from Eugene Levy in heels? The music is awesome in it though.

I'm back.

You have just got to love camping. Swimming, reading and playing dorky games like Hyper Dash and what some would call cricket but I just call falling over a lot. It. Is. Great. Oh and Twister, of course. That is the funniest thing of all.
