Ransom

Today M-cat and J-kitty left an unsual ransom note in my locker. In return for my stuff, they requested a mention on the blog. Here it is: mention. Be happy and watch all cartoons in Italian. They rock.
By the way, anyone who knows where I can find Sailor Moon in Italian, please comment below.

Necklaces and Somerset Books

I received my lovely new set of books from ebay the other day. My mum bought them for me and it was a lovely surprise when she brought them home. They are called Sisters of the Quantock Hills and are written by Ruth Elwin Harris. I simply adore these books.
Today I made an NCIS and Bones video using Windows Movie Maker. I cannot believe I opted for IT next semester over chemistry. Admittedly, I loath chemistry so only IT was left, but computers are just so hard!
I was feeling creative today and I made this necklace. I love the beads. The black ones are actually magnetic beads that I found stuck to some wire in the bottom of my bead box. Everyone in my house was feeling creative today. Mum made these adorable Dorothy shoes for her friend's birthday (there was a shoe voucher as well). Fi is having a Wizard of Oz/Wicked party so J-kitty, who is coming as Dorothy should wear shoes like this.

This last month in a nutshell

Night time.
Melbourne University is so beautiful!
I went to Melbourne University for the Dante Aligheri Italian poetry competition. My poem was titled Nei Miei Sogni, In My Dreams.
Blue sky! Unbelievable. It is the first month of winter here after all.
My dog is so cute when she sleeps.
Even model train sets have their tarts.

There was a model train exhibition at the local hall. Dad and I went, it is amazing how much time and energy goes into these things. My sims fell over while rollerblading. I want the sims3 now.
Fi actually bought green face paint so that she could be Elphaba at her birthday party. Then she didn't know how to get it off.
I visited the devastated Marysville on the way back from my Grandpa's.

These pictures depict this last month for me. It was a hectic one, what with exams and everything else so I haven't had a lot of free time. I have begun yet another story though, it's coming along quite nicely.

Insanely Busy With Business

I have just simply been far too busy to actually even go on the internet for more than a minute. Exams were last week and now that they are over I thought that I might have some time for hobbies and the blog, but I haven't.
Taking a break from study, I watched the film Ballet Shoes. I enjoyed it, Emma Watson was very good in it and it did provide a distraction from the rest of the world. I love falling into the pit of illusion that films and books always seem to provide. I love imagining that I am the orphan living in 1920's England with an eccentric family and friends. It just seems so much more better than my boring life.
Speaking of Emma Watson these photos are from the Burberry campaign. She looks much older than the nineteen years that she is.Oh and by the way, Ziva quits NCIS? I. Do. Not. Like. It.

Exam Week

M-cat is just sooo not camera shy.
Neither am I.
M-cat was gracious enough to try and knock my camera away. Thanks for that.

Yes, it is here. My big week of exams, not having to attend classes and slacking off. Actually, there hasn't been that much 'slacking off'. I have been pretty busy. Made a cake today... who am I kidding? I got through 3 episodes of Veronica Mars today after my maths exam! No Miss Hannah Montana, this is the good life.
