Strangeness

I got to come home from yesterday as I felt sick. I wasn't faking or anything either, everything seemed to be moving or in the wrong spot. It was very strange.
I was feeling like Lisa Mitchel in her Neopolitan Dreams video the other day. Thus the pictures.

My dogs butt

Oh yes, my dog is exceptionally photogenic. Well if she cared she could be. No, all she wants to do is smell random gross stuff and feign deafness when I yell at her to turn around. For arguments sake she is kind of deaf, but still.

Walking Home

I walk home pretty much every day, unless I can con my father into giving me a ride, and today for some insane reason I found my camera in my blazer pocket. I have no clue as to why it might be there (ghosts, perhaps?) but instead of waste the opportunity, I took some completely random photos on my way home. Ugh, my awful school shoes, I hate school policies.

Twilight Poster.

Yeah this pretty much rocks. I was reading the book again, but schoolwork has caught up on me. The one with Jane is so obviously fake but who cares?

Oval

Outfit details: Just Jeans jeans and leather jacket, roxy belt, target singlet

It finally stopped being insanely windy and raining long enough for me to go out and snap some pictures. I got my camera back last Sunday from it's trip to the middle of nowhere with my Dad and have been waiting and waiting to get out there and use it again. Of course, school and the weather do not like me and were working in cooperation against me so I couldn't. Oh well.

Readers and Costume Parties

My Italian professoressa today gave us the very exciting homework in the form of readers. I feel so special.

There is so much going on at the moment. It can get a bit confusing. Fi and I have been very busily planning her birthday party. Dress up, games, music and hilarious costumes. I will be going as none other than Galinda (it's Galinda with a Ga). No surprises there. My outfit however will consist of Op-shop dress which I will use my wonderful abilities as seamstress to alter and teak so it looks crazy and sparkly. I should be fun. This dress that Zooey Deschanel is wearing is beautiful. My muse for this party, hello.

Literature and Black Things

So far this year I have read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Night by Elie Wiesel, Brilliant Lies by David Williamson, The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien and Maestro by Peter Goldsburg. These are in fact good books, just a little depressing. So some depressing pictures to suit my current mood. Why? I have to work tonight.

Climbing Trees

Yesterday I went for a bike ride with my mother and sister. I had fun climbing the simply massive oak tree at the local netball courts.

Three Day Weekend

I get Monday off school this week and it is great. I am going shopping with Fi tomorrow and will be buying less random junk than I do with M-cat because Fi is a lot more serious... in a way. She and I just could not stop laughing in our Literature class the other day. I can't even remember why, we just were. Anyways, it should be fun.
Today is Mother's Day and my mum really liked her presents. I got her earrings, some perfume balm, a clothes voucher and a DVD. I love giving presents, it gives one such a warm, happy feeling inside because you are doing something good.
Bones and Booth look so cute together. New episode on tonight.

Yes, that is Jim Carrey as Harry Potter

It is also Zooey Deschanel as Hermonie Granger. These images alone make me want to watch Yes Man. I have never seen it but today at work I was bludging and browsing through the DVD's when I came across the film. In my Literature class we are watching The Truman Show, which is a good film.
I get a three-day weekend this weekend because the teachers at my school seem to enjoy getting together and being weird. They give us, the lucky students, the day off. Not that I'm complaining. It is Mother's Day on Sunday and on Monday I am going shopping with Fi. Which reminds me, I must find a Mother's Day gift for Mum, who most definitely deserves one for putting up with me.

Market Hats

I will be going to the next market in town to desperately try and find something interesting to where. It is getting colder now and I am in desperate need of gloves. Even though everyone seems to be under the delusion that I have a lot of hats (8 is not a very large number), I will be trying to find a new (or not so new) hat for me. Something like this would be acceptable. If only, if only...

ANZACS are not just biscuits

This is very very late as ANZAC Day was the 25th of April. I will post it anyways. I went down to the eleven o'clock service because the dawn service seemed a bit drastic to me. I was not going to get up at five am! I always loved the way the trumpets sound in the cold air and how the Ode is said to silence from all. Even screaming babies shut up for it.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
